the ascending 3-tiered bones refer to bernard stiegler's reading of the three types of capitalism that humanity has witnessed, corresponding to the three stages of proletarianization. the rows of identically shaped bones, strung with steel ropes on a steel construction, represent technology's standardization of the subjectivity of individuals.
the use of bronze, which is frequently encountered in monumental sculptures, in the mold of the bones in this work aims to monumentalize the layers of human history and existence.
